About Me

Graphotism Cover

I first became involved in graffiti during the late 80's; being talented in art I was drawn to the speed and skill of the spray can and the sheer style of the letters and characters. I began to write astek at the age of twelve and was well known as a bus writer, but yearned to paint pieces. I painted a few but found it hard to come by paint, which made practicing for me hard, although I am still remembered for my work in the late 80s. I really started to make a name for myself in 1995 with the help of the re-birth of The Woolwich Dockyard hall of fame. By 1998 I was known as one of London 's top graffiti artists working and painting alongside the artists who first inspired me. In 2000 I was voted London 's best wall painter on graffiti site location 12.

The styles I paint are varied and have been perfected over years, I paint wildstyle, 2D, 3D and also characters. I have taken part in large graffiti jams up and down this country and in Ireland and Belgium. More recently I have moved my work on to canvases and taken part in several exhibitions in London and Manchester; mainly with the ‘they made me do it collective'. I find canvases hard to put graffiti on to, but that's what I enjoy about it; it's a new challenge not only for graffiti but for my art in general. Currently I am working on my own graffiti event which I started last year; it was a great day involving 28 writers painting a large wall in east London. Alongside that I am working on large scale murals around London with Signal project.

For me now I want to move on to being a respected artist and carry on pushing the productions and the British graffiti scene.
